BALTIMORE, MD – Darby Steadman (LT) gets vaccine shots from a research nurse Silvia Petrik (cq) (RT). Darby Steadman (born 10/18/69), is a patient No. 11 in Dr. Leisha Emens??? second trial. She is scheduled for a fourth and final round of vaccine this month. The Millersville mother of two young children and the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, Steadman took the most aggressive approach to her breast cancer diagnosis: A double mastectomy.
