LUTHERVILLE, MD – Alan R. Craig (RT), a companion of Peggy Murphy (born 11/19/1950) shows the fatigue while Murphy (LT) was getting the chemotherapy. Craig had a heart attack and was hospitalized a week later. Murphy, 57, complained of pain in her hip for years before doctors finally diagnosed it as a recurrence of the breast cancer she thought she had kicked. Murphy (No. 24 in Dr. Leisha Emens’ study) finished Emens first trial in the spring, but her cancer appears to be spreading.
